🔧 What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our customers — whether they’re trade professionals or retail customers. Every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to develop your skills.

Internal Sales

• Respond to and price customer enquiries within agreed timescales
• Follow up on quotations and record outcomes accurately
• Convert quotes to orders at the best possible margin
• Proactively drive sales through outbound telesales
• Provide customers with expert advice and product guidance
• Achieve monthly sales targets set by the Branch Manager
• Build strong working relationships across departments and with customers

Trade Counter

• Serve customers on the trade counter, handling enquiries and purchases
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ensure products are well-presented, in stock, and easy to find
• Operate tills, process payments, and use our internal systems

General Responsibilities

• Support other departments to meet customer demand
• Take part in stock takes to ensure accurate counts
• Follow all regulatory and legal requirements
• Participate in product and supplier training to grow your knowledge
• Represent the company professionally and courteously at all times
• Work flexibly, including occasional overtime when required

Experience in timber, hardware, or building materials is helpful — but not essential. If you have the right attitude, we’ll give you the training to succeed.
