An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Yard Operative/ Driver within the team in Bangor. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, energetic and have a willingness to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a successful career within Haldane Fisher.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Picking orders to meet customer requirements
• Assisting and serving calling customers
• Assisting yard personnel with the loading and offloading of customer and company vehicles
• Deliver orders professionally and on time, following legal driving standards and tachograph rules.
• Maintain a tidy yard and follow PPE guidelines to support health and safety standards.

Applications for this role are invited from an individual who:

• Has a Category C Driving Licence and Driver CPC Qualification
• Holds a valid digital tachograph card
• Has GCSE (or equivalent) level Math & English at level C or above
• Has experience of working in a customer focused environment preferably within a building trade counter environment
• Has experience of loading and unloading of vehicles (including HGV Lorries)
• Has preferably the ability to demonstrate knowledge of general building, hardware and timber products
• Has strong customer service & communication skills
