What You’ll Be Doing

  • Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle in line with transport and road regulations

  • Deliver a wide range of building materials to customers, construction sites, and trade professionals

  • Carry out safe loading and unloading, including use of HIAB equipment if trained

  • Secure all goods properly to maintain product quality during transit

  • Provide friendly, professional customer service at every drop

  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery notes, orders, and site conditions

  • Perform daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly

  • Keep accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork

  • Work closely with our transport office and warehouse team to organise efficient routes

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and care for the vehicle

  • Follow all site safety rules and customer procedures

  • Support the yard or warehouse team during quieter periods

  • Assist the wider transport team with extra routes or van deliveries when required
