We wish to recruit temporary and permanent General** Operatives** to work in Sawmill and Roof Truss at our Head Office in Newry. This is for someone looking to learn and develop new skills that will equip them for a career within one of the UK and Ireland’s leading Independent merchants. These new positions also offer the opportunity to become full time and permanent.

Key responsibilities of a General Operative will include:

• Laying out timber components
• Pressing and stacking of roof trusses
• Creating Posi and I Joists to fulfil orders
• Ensuring timber components meet quality standards
