This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join our dynamic team in Newry and progress their career within one of the largest independent, family-owned timber and builder’s merchants in the UK and Ireland. The successful candidate will have experience in operations, manufacturing and sales and have the confidence to lead and manage a 100+ team in sales and margin improvement whilst overseeing operations, manufacturing, and distribution focusing on revenue generation activities.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Coaching, leading and coordinating across our departments within the Newry branch to ensure excellent customer service, standards and compliance
• Ensure the branch is performing to set KPI targets
• Oversee continuous improvement projects
• Support and lead the manufacturing team to achieve desired outputs
• Develop the branch team to ensure objectives and targets are met and exceeded
• Manage stock levels and ensure a high standard of quality throughout the ranges
• Budget management
• Ensure health and safety of the branch
