What will your new role entail?
- Taking ownership of ensuring accurate picking, packing, and on-time dispatch of all customer orders while maintaining high standards of delivery performance.
- Working closely with Transport, Order Processing, and Yard teams to meet delivery schedules and resolve any fulfilment or dispatch issues quickly and effectively.
- Implementing and overseeing robust load-checking procedures to minimise errors, improve order accuracy, and ensure all vehicles leave correctly loaded and documented.
- Improving stock labelling and site layout to support efficient picking and loading, with clear visibility of key items and safe movement in dispatch areas.
- Supporting and leading dispatch teams with a strong focus on performance, accountability, and compliance with all health & safety standards.
What do you need to be successful?
- Experience of working in a similar environment.
- Full Driving Licence
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating operational teams.
- Strong communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with different teams.
- Excellent attention to detail
- GCSE English and Maths Grade C
