Due to continued growth, we are delighted to recruit for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant to join our team at our Lisburn branch. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual who enjoys a fast‑paced environment and takes pride in building strong customer relationships.

The Role

As a Trade Counter Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting both trade and retail customers, maximising sales opportunities while ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key responsibilities include:

• Handling all retail and trade counter sales enquiries in a professional and helpful manner

• Supporting customers with product selection and providing knowledgeable advice

• Cash handling and operating a computerised stock and ordering system

• Maintaining high standards of customer service at all times

What We’re Looking For

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• Previous experience in a trade counter or customer-facing role

• A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer service

• A target‑driven mindset with a strong focus on customer satisfaction

• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a branch team

• Knowledge of, or a keen interest in, building materials, timber, and hardware
